Siggghhh, still trying to remember I'm 40. Good news: we won the championship indoor game last night - really came together as a team, even with only 1 sub. Scored a goal. Bad news: the diving attempted save during my stint as goalie ensured I will not be wearing a skirt any time soon and stiffens up after sitting, causing limping. More Good News: the ball-to-the-eye in the last 2 seconds didn't do any permanent damage and the swelling doesn't interfere with eyesight needed for driving....
The team has opted to step back up to Division A, meaning I really really really need to get back on that treadmill and log some serious miles every day. Outdoor is coming soon, too, so I guess my winter hibernation must end... if it would only stop snowing. Ugh.
